Faith Automotive Warranty & Disclaimer

At Faith Automotive in Longview, Texas, we stand behind the quality of our work and the honesty of our service. By authorizing Faith Automotive to proceed with approved repairs or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding warranty coverage, service liability, and vehicle responsibility.

1. Warranty Coverage
Faith Automotive provides the following warranty to the original purchaser of the repair order:
    • Passenger, Light-Duty, and Commercial Vehicles:
  • 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first), covering parts and labor unless otherwise stated on the repair invoice.
    • Used or Customer-Supplied Parts:
  • 90-day parts-only warranty (no labor coverage). Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

All warranties cover only the specific parts and labor originally performed by Faith Automotive and are limited to correcting defects in materials or workmanship within the warranty period.

2. Warranty Repair Procedures
All warranty repairs must be performed by Faith Automotive. If you suspect an issue that may fall under warranty, please contact Faith Automotive before having any additional work performed elsewhere. Unauthorized repairs or third-party work will void warranty coverage. Faith Automotive will verify eligibility and coordinate any approved warranty repairs.

3. Tire & Manufacturer Warranties
Tire warranties are subject strictly to the manufacturer’s terms and procedures. Faith Automotive will assist customers in contacting the manufacturer when possible, but cannot extend or modify manufacturer coverage.

4. Customer Belongings & Aftermarket Items
Faith Automotive is not responsible for any personal belongings or aftermarket accessories left in the vehicle during service. Our facility is located in an unfenced parking area, and by leaving your vehicle with us, you release Faith Automotive from any liability related to loss, theft, vandalism, or damage occurring to the vehicle or its contents while on or near the premises. The customer assumes full responsibility for all personal items and accepts this risk when leaving a vehicle in our care.

5. Declined Repairs & Safety Recommendations
When Faith Automotive provides safety or maintenance recommendations that a customer declines, the customer acknowledges they assume full responsibility for any resulting issues, failures, or safety concerns related to those declined repairs. Our team makes these recommendations with your safety and your vehicle’s performance in mind. Declining them releases Faith Automotive from liability for future related failures.

6. Non-Standard Repairs & Customer Requests
If a customer requests repairs or parts that deviate from manufacturer recommendations — including non-approved fluids, parts, or procedures — the customer acknowledges and accepts all associated risks. Faith Automotive cannot be held responsible for issues or damages resulting from such requests.

7. Limitations of Liability
Faith Automotive strives to deliver quality workmanship on every repair. However, we are not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing conditions, unrelated issues, or hidden defects.
    • Failures or damages arising after service completion that are not directly related to work we performed.
    • Issues resulting from neglect, misuse, accidents, or tampering after service.

Our liability is limited strictly to correcting workmanship or part failures covered under our stated warranty terms.

8. Mechanic’s & Storage Lien
An express mechanic’s lien is acknowledged on all vehicles serviced by Faith Automotive to secure payment for authorized repairs. Additionally, a storage lien will be applied to any vehicle abandoned or left unpaid beyond reasonable notification. Vehicles not picked up within 3 business days after notification of completion may be subject to a $25 per day storage and administrative fee, unless other arrangements are made and noted on the repair order.

9. Refunds, Cancellations & Chargebacks
All diagnostic and labor services are nonrefundable once performed. Parts that have been installed cannot be returned. Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes after approved work has been completed may constitute theft of services under Texas Penal Code §31.04 and may result in legal action to recover losses and fees. Faith Automotive encourages all customers to contact our team directly with any questions or concerns so we can resolve them quickly and professionally.

10. Our Commitment
Faith Automotive is committed to honesty, quality, and customer satisfaction. Our goal is to provide transparent, dependable service while protecting the integrity of our work and our team’s time. By entrusting your vehicle to Faith Automotive, you acknowledge and agree to these terms — designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and professional service for every customer.
